Types of Journal Issues
ERMIS Journals consist of findings from original research and derived studies by experts in specific scholarly fields. The articles include:
Special Issues (SIs) which are collections of papers centered around a subject of special interest and are organized and led by subject experts who take on the role of Guest Editor of the Special Issue.

Regular Issues (RIs) which are collections of papers centered around a subject submitted and clustered to form an serialized issued of papers.
Types of Journal Papers
ERMIS journals invites several types of papers including:
- Original Research Articles : Detailed reports of original research conducted by the authors. These typically include sections such as Introduction, Methods, Results, and Discussions while integrating review of the literature.
- Case study Reports : Research papers that present detailed accounts of a particular issues based on specific unit of social organization such as places and institutions for the purpose of informing understanding on science, policy, and practice among other areas of understanding and behavior.
- Review Articles : Comprehensive overviews of the existing literature on a specific topic. The articles critically analyze current knowledge, highlight trends and patterns, and identify gaps for future research.
- Editorials and Commentaries : Opinion-based pieces that provide expert perspectives on emerging issues, trends and patterns research, innovations, policy, and practices. These may be authored by editors, guest editors, or invited experts.
- Letters to the Editor : Short communications that respond to previously published articles or raise relevant questions and concerns within the journal’s scope while upholding integrity in scholarly critique.
- Book Reviews : Critical evaluations of recently published books related to the journal's areas of interest, offering readers guidance on important new publications.
- News and Views : Brief articles that highlight recent developments, discoveries, or updates in a particular field of research aligned with the journal’s focus.
