Article Processing Fee
Article Processing Fee (APC)
ERMIS Journal is an independent, self-sustaining academic organization. We do not receive funding from government bodies, private institutions, or commercial entities. As such, the operations of ERMIS Journals are entirely supported through Article Processing Charges (APCs) paid by authors, as well as limited contributions from academic or corporate sponsors.
Publication Fee
Upon acceptance of a manuscript for publication, authors are required to pay a flat Article Processing Charge (APC) of USD 95.
This fee covers the costs associated with the entire publishing process, including but not limited to:
-
Manuscript submission system and platform maintenance
-
Editorial and peer review management
-
Article production and typesetting
-
DOI assignment and metadata distribution
-
Online hosting and indexing
-
Long-term archiving and access
-
Marketing and article promotion activities
ERMIS Journals remain committed to providing open access to all published content, ensuring global dissemination of scholarly work without barriers to readers.
Payment Methods
Authors may pay the APC via:
-
Online payment portal (using credit or debit cards)
-
Direct bank transfer, using the account details provided in the invoice
After payment is completed, a payment receipt and confirmation will be sent to the corresponding author. APCs may be paid by:

Please ensure that all payment information is correct and that the invoice number is included with your payment.
Refund Policy
ERMIS Journals maintains a transparent and fair policy regarding APCs:
-
Once a manuscript is accepted for publication, the APC becomes non-refundable, regardless of the author's subsequent decisions or actions.
-
The corresponding author, as the submitting party, is responsible for ensuring that payment is completed in full and on time.
Refunds will not be issued for:
-
Withdrawal of an accepted article
-
Author-side technical errors
-
Delays caused by the author after acceptance
Article Retraction Fee
If an author chooses to withdraw or retract an article after acceptance and completion of peer review, a retraction fee equivalent to 30% of the APC (USD 30) will be charged.
This fee compensates for the significant editorial and operational resources invested in processing the manuscript, including:
-
Coordination of peer review by editors and reviewers
-
Technical support by editorial staff
-
Use of the editorial management system
-
Administrative and content handling services
Please note that article retractions initiated by the publisher due to ethical concerns (e.g., plagiarism, data fabrication) are handled according to COPE guidelines and may not incur additional charges from the authors.
